For me this is an experience in getting myself out of my own box.
Thinking out loud is a bit of a stretch for me, since I am more or less a quiet, private person. Don't even keep a journal, however I do have thoughts from time to time that aren't poems. (Did I mention that I'm a poet?)

So my thought for today, which seems to be a recurring one and will probably end up inside a poem somewhere is this:

That given the English language, the same 26 letters writing this blog are rearranging themselves to create the latest invention, break and mend someones heart, navigate planes, design systems and tell bedtime stories . . . the list is endless. An odd but overwhelming thought. And the same holds true for music, one octave consisting of 8 notes comprises all of the music that we hear that was ever created.

Even if you don't want to dive into the deep end of this one, its worthy of consideration, as we all engage in some way each day if not almost every moment, even in our dreams and the mutterings under our breath.

Although I am new to blogging, I can barely remember a time when I didn't write, poetry that is. In fact I think my blood type is ink. I recently published with an incredibly innovative press, Writers Lair, making waves in the literary world.

You can check out excerpts from my book titled, 'Vibrating with Silence,' on my website http://www.deannanikaido.com/ I will also be posting a voice page in the coming week.

Thanks for stopping by!
~Deanna
